Tribute to my Inspirations

This is something I wanted to draw for a while now. It’s a tribute to the two anime series that inspired me to draw and become an artist.

When I was 10 years old in 4th grade we went to the school library where I found an magazine with Pokemon on the cover. I practiced drawing that cover over and over and started drawing pokemon pretty much everyday since then. My parents bought me a Cardcaptor Sakura art book maybe a year or two later (I still have it in my desk drawer) and it further inspired me to draw my own outfits for my own characters.

These two series greatly influenced my style and way of drawing and left a great impact on my work. Thus, I wanted to make this picture to show how much I’ve grown as an artist and celebrate them. <3
